Red and Black Day

We brought some money to put on the T for the Christchurch people.Some people died and we feel sad. We want to give the money to people in Christchurch so they can buy stuff. Our class raised $303.90!

February 15. Visitors from Japan

We had visitors from Japan. They came to play with us and to learn English.They taught us how to write our names in Japanese and showed us how to do Origami.That is making things by folding paper. We got to take one home.

I Move

Three people in LC 1 got spot prizes at the I move assembly. We got stickers if we walked, biked,or ran to school. We are learning to keep fit.

Being Safe In the Sun

We are learning about being safe in the sun.You need to wear a hat, sunscreen,sun glasses,and cover up. Look at our sun smart pictures and stories.

Mrs Kenyon was looking after the baby lambs because their mother died.

Ryan thinks they look weird because they have blue on their backs.

They were triplets but one died so now they are twins.

Nathaniel thinks they look cute.

"They have a fence around them so they can't get lost", said Mitchell.

"We patted a lamb and it felt soft and furry", said Madi and Katie.

The Production

We danced on stage at the Regent Theatre. When we finished our dance "Thriller", the audience clapped and cheered. Lots of special people came to see us. The show was fabulous and spectacular! We felt very excited and proud!
