Emma from LC 8 brought in a duckling to show us.She is a bird rescuer and got this bird from the SPCA. Emma feeds it a special grain mix and looks after Quacky. When Quacky is bigger Emma will let her go in a pond. Quacky has a mirror in her box so she doesn't get lonely. Quacky is really cute and friendly.

ReplyDeleteThat duckling looks very cute. When I bike to the gym every day there is a family of ducklings in Bayfield Inlet. They might still be there when Hayley visits at Christmas.
Bayfield Inlet is in Dunedin where I live with Hayley's Grandad, Grant. I will try and remember to take a photo of the ducklings and email it to Hayley.
